Communities Committee met today at Woodhill House.

We acknowledged the revenue & capital budget monitoring as at 30th September 2017, and also acknowledged that there were no budget adjustments to notefollowing virement approval.

Following extensive thanks to David Rout, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service Local Senior Officer for Aberdeenshire & Moray who is retiring before our next meeting, we approved the Aberdeenshire Local Fire & Rescue Plan 2017-20.

We then approved the draft Strategic Housing Investment Plan 2018-2023 and then a proposal to accelerate the delivery of affordable housing through the Affordable Housing Reserve Fund.

We acknowledged the HRA revenue budget monitoring at 30th September 2017.

We acknowledged the education and childrens services quarterly performane exception reporting April-June 2017 – which particularly of note reported high satisfaction levels with Libraries, Museums & Art Galleries and leisure fcilities.

We acknowledged the content of the IJB Performance Q1 Report – which shows excellent figures compared to the national ones.

Finally, we discussed some items in private session.
