This morning I joined Councillors Adam and Johnston in visiting the Offshore Windfarm Project at Blackdog where we spoke with members of the Vattenfall UK team, and toured the site.
It was good to hear construction work is well on schedule – and likely to operational around this time next year.
The wind Farm will operate over a twenty year period and will produce energy for 80,000 homes.
